Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist for a day shift contract working in a transplant and primary stroke center with 1+ years of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital setting on an MRI unit within a transplant facility and primary stroke center
• Duties are heavy in MRI and MRA procedures
• Schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• No on-call required
• Floating within the facility, within scope of practice, and to outpatient as needed
• Unit accepts first-time travelers
• Major holidays require coverage as assigned, with specific expectations based on the assignment period
• A maximum of 7 days requested time off is allowed, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of the assignment
• Full compliance with onboarding and documentation is required to start on time
• Orientation is scheduled bi-weekly, with hours determined by assignment length
• Returning employees must have been away from all related facilities for at least one full year to be eligible
• Travel pairs will not be assigned to the same shift in the same unit
• No blocked scheduling is available
• Locals are accepted at the same rate

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience as an MRI Technologist
• License required if applicable
• Must provide two supervisory references from a manager or higher for consideration
