Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 18 months to 2 years of experience and ARRT (R) certification for weekend and evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work in a busy critical access hospital serving inpatient, outpatient, ED, ICU, med/surg, walk-in clinic, and scheduled testing
• Covers both inpatient and outpatient settings, including ER and adult ICU
• Duties include CT procedures such as abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, myelography, CT angiography, and multiplanar reconstruction
• Performs XR procedures including extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal
• Facility is equipped with 2 patient rooms and utilizes PACS and portable imaging
• Cerner EMR charting is required
• Weekend shifts are Saturday/Sunday 8:00–20:00; Monday evening shift is 14:00–22:00
• Floating within the hospital and to nearby affiliate hospitals is required
• First-time travelers are welcome
• Applicants must be able to perform both CT and diagnostic X-ray procedures
• Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays during the assignment
• Up to 5 days of requested time off may be auto-approved
• All travelers may float within the hospital or to an affiliate facility as needed
• Returning perm or PRN employees must be separated for at least 12 months prior to applying as a traveler
• Local candidates are accepted for allied positions
• Dress code requires professional scrubs per hospital policy

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months to 2 years recent CT Technologist experience
• Current BLS certification required (AHA or RQI accepted)
• ARRT (R) certification required; advanced ARRT preferred
• Indiana or Compact state license required if applicable
• Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE-accredited university
• Experience using PACS and Cerner EMR is required
