Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist experienced in both CT and X-ray with ARRT R and BLS certifications for a night shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a short-term acute care hospital
• Unit specializes in CT and X-ray imaging
• Shift schedule is Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 18:30 to 5:00 (4x10 hour night shifts)
• Patients include those needing extremity, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, musculoskeletal, and surgical imaging
• Operate Siemens and Phillips 256 slice CT scanners, Siemens XR and R/F rooms, Agfa and GE portable X-ray units, and GE C-arms
• Uses Cerner EMR for charting
• Floating to other hospital units or affiliate hospitals may be required
• Local candidates are accepted
• Duties include performing a range of CT and X-ray imaging procedures and operating advanced imaging equipment
• Must be able to work two out of three major holidays as part of shift requirements
• Auto-approval of up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) is allowed
• Team includes radiology and technical staff for support
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Parking is free on site
• Returning employees must have a 12-month break before applying as a traveler

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months to 2 years recent experience as a CT and X-ray technologist
• ARRT R and BLS certifications required; AHA and RQI accepted and must be current
• Must possess an active IN state or Compact license at the time of consideration (license required if applicable)
• Experience with CT and X-ray imaging for a variety of body regions and in surgical settings is required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited university
