Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 3+ years of experience and ARRT (R)(CT) certification for inpatient and outpatient night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital setting covering both inpatient and outpatient units
• Perform CT scans on neonate through geriatric patients in four CT rooms
• Average daily caseload of 12-24 patients
• Level 3 Trauma environment with emergency department and stroke alerts
• Utilize Siemens and Philips CT scanners, Epic EMR, and Fuji PACS
• Night shift, Friday through Monday, 4x10 hour shifts from 20:30 to 07:00
• Floating may be required within the facility
• Eight call shifts total per assignment, scheduled with at least two weeks notice
• Perform CT scans in accordance with established protocols for ER, inpatient, and outpatient populations
• Collaborate closely with technologists, nurses, doctors, and transport staff to provide high-quality patient care
• Maintain a positive and productive work environment
• Gray scrubs required
• Must work holiday shifts based on assignment duration and outlined holiday scheduling rules
• Up to 7 days of requested time off allowed; no time off permitted during the first week of assignment
• Compliance with all onboarding requirements is mandatory to start on time due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
• Local candidates will be considered at the same pay rate
• Travel pairs are not permitted to work the same shift on the same unit
• Clinical review may be conducted to determine clinical fit prior to assignment confirmation

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in CT technology
• Current BLS, ARRT, and ARRT (R)(CT) certifications required
• Ability to perform all CT procedures per protocol, including starting IVs and obtaining patient consent
• Experience with Siemens and Philips CT equipment preferred
• Familiarity with Epic EMR and Fuji PACS systems
• License required if applicable
• Two supervisory references required for consideration
• Perm or PRN staff must be away from all Piedmont facilities for at least one year before returning as a traveler
