Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with an active Massachusetts license and experience with CT imaging for a mid-shift assignment.
Responsibilities
- Position is in a CT Scan unit within the Radiology Department
- Work schedule is 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM with every other weekend rotation and one call during the assignment
- 13-week assignment duration
- EPIC charting system is used on the unit
- Patients require diversified CT imaging duties as assigned
- Responsibilities include performing diversified duties in the CT section as directed by the department supervisor
- Reports to the CT Supervisor and follows established organizational and departmental policies
- Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
- Parking may involve additional costs; public transportation and parking lots are available
- Local candidates must live at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for standard rate
- Scrub or dress code information not specified
- Must provide proof of MA licensure at the time of consideration
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Radiology or graduation from an accredited radiology program required
- Active Massachusetts radiologic technologist license required; MA conditional licenses not accepted; License required if applicable
- Registration as a CT Technologist required
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification required
- One to three years of experience as a CT Technologist preferred
- Experience with EPIC EMR is preferred
