Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist experienced in both CT and X-ray modalities for overnight shifts, with ARRT (CT) certification and at least 2 years of acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in an acute care setting with responsibilities in both CT and X-ray imaging
• Performs general CT scans, CT angiograms (CTA), portable X-rays, C-Arm, and fluoroscopy procedures
• Uses Synapse equipment and EPIC EMR system
• Schedule is Thursday to Saturday, 6:30pm to 7:00am, 12-hour night shifts
• Weekend rotation is required
• Patient care includes adult and potentially geriatric populations
• Must be able to operate independently and start own IVs
• A radiation badge must be provided by the agency
• Floor-specific orientation will be provided
• No call or holiday shifts required
• No IV team support; technologist must start own IVs
• 50-mile radius rule applies; no local travelers accepted within this distance
• Returning travelers or former permanent staff must have a 2-year break before reapplying or returning
• Cumulative travel assignments within the system cannot exceed 1 year without a 2-year break
• Scrub color is not specified

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a CT Technologist in an acute care setting
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• State of WV Radiologic Technologist License required if applicable
• Experience with CT, X-ray, C-Arm, and fluoroscopy imaging
• Familiarity with Synapse equipment and EPIC charting preferred
• Must provide an unexpired driver’s license for consideration
