Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Stepdown unit position requiring 18 months recent cardiac stepdown experience and an active OH or compact state RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Stepdown unit
• Patient population includes progressive care and cardiac stepdown cases
• 3x12 hour shifts with rotating day and night shifts as needed
• Facility may rotate shifts to meet operational needs
• Must work at least every other holiday
• Electronic documentation of hours using Qualivis – Lotus
• Must provide two professional references for consideration
• Travelers may not work more than 18 consecutive months at any Cleveland Clinic location and must wait 6 months before returning
• Progressive care (PCU) experience is preferred but not required
• Orientation includes required competency assessments

Requirements

• Active OH or compact state RN license in hand
• Minimum 18 months of permanent experience in cardiac stepdown required
• AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation
