Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position in Michigan requiring a current MI RN license and strong floating capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting
• Care for critically ill adult patients including neuro and cardiac cases
• Must be comfortable floating to the Emergency Department (ED) and step-down units
• Must provide care for high-acuity patients in a fast-paced ICU environment
• Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) will be considered
• Copies of all certifications must be provided for consideration

Requirements

• Active Michigan RN license at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
• Current BLS (AHA), ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Ability to float to ED and step-down units is required
• TCAR, TNCC, CCRN, or SCRN certifications are preferred
• Previous travel nurse experience is preferred
• Neuro surgical and open heart nursing experience are preferred
