Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position requiring a KS or compact RN license and recent ICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the ICU department of a hospital setting
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Caring for critically ill adult patients in an intensive care environment
• 13-week contract assignment
• Deliver high-level critical care and monitor patients in the ICU
• Compliance with hospital and unit-specific policies is required
• Mandatory dress code and additional details will be provided upon assignment

Requirements

• Active KS or compact state RN license required
• At least 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience
• Current AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
• Must provide a US Social Security Number (no Canadian SSNs accepted) and date of birth for consideration
• At least one professional reference is required
• No gaps in work history of 90 or more days within the past 12 months
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility; locals not accepted
