Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatrics position in Texas, requiring a current TX or compact RN license and at least 1 year of recent pediatric experience.

Responsibilities

Position is in the Pediatrics unit within a hospital setting
Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
13-week travel contract assignment
Patient population consists of pediatric patients
Local candidates are not eligible; must live at least 50 miles from the facility
Scrub or dress code details not specified in posting
Assignment length and start/end dates may be subject to facility approval

Requirements

Active TX or compact RN license required
Minimum 1 year of recent pediatric nursing experience required
Current BLS and PALS certification from AHA or ARC required
Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
Professional references required based on home state guidelines

Pros

Sebrona was so helpful and quick to respond. She is kind and patient. She was able to get me the job I wanted with excellent pay. After she done her part she continued to check in with me to see how the compliance part was going. I felt comfortable with asking her questions even though it wasn’t the department she worked in. She would reach out to others and get the answer or be sure they contacted me.
