Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab/IR Technologist for a Level II trauma acute care hospital, requiring BLS, ACLS, and either ARRT with a Maryland license or RCIS with IR experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care hospital within the cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology (IR) lab
• Level II trauma center with 360 staffed beds
• Caseload of 8-12 cases per day
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Weekend call required, one full weekend per month
• On-call required approximately 7-10 days per month with a 30 minute STEMI response time
• No floating required between units
• Uses Cerner and McKesson EMR systems
• Scrubs provided by the facility
• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in both the cath lab and IR
• Participate in STEMI call team with guaranteed 2-hour call back
• Parking provided at no cost with badge access
• Block scheduling is not available

Requirements

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• ARRT with Maryland license, or RCIS with IR experience
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Ability to provide a copy of driver’s license and social security card
• Must pass a strict nicotine and cotinine screen; all forms of nicotine use disqualify
• License required if applicable
