Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring a MA RN license, ACLS, and Cath/EP Lab experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Cardiac Cath and EP Lab with 2 procedure rooms at a 400+ bed hospital
• Perform interventional cardiac procedures including PCI, impella, balloon pump, device implant, and ablations
• Adult patient population
• Day shift, 4x10 hr shifts, 7:00am-5:30pm with 7 on-call nights per month including one full weekend
• Uses Epic Cupid for charting
• Floating is not required
• Responsibilities include scrub, circulating, and monitoring duties in the Cath/EP Lab
• Must be able to respond to on-call cases as required
• Flu vaccination required with no exemptions permitted
• Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston for standard travel rates
• Parking may incur additional costs; public transportation and parking lots are available

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required, no conditional or pending licenses accepted
• Current BLS (AHA only) certification required
• Current ACLS (AHA only) certification required
• Minimum 4 years of Cath/EP Lab experience required
• Interventional cardiac and scrub experience required
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
