Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring at least 2 years of recent cath lab experience and current ACLS/BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Work in an acute care hospital Cardiac Cath Lab setting
- Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts from 7:00AM to 3:30PM
- No weekends, holidays, or on-call required
- Two lab suites with an average of 1 to 2 cases per day
- Patients include those requiring left and right heart catheterizations, pacemaker placements, and permacath procedures
- Utilizes Philips and GE rooms and XPER equipment
- Charting is completed using the MEDITECH EMR system; experience required
- No floating required to other units
- Daily responsibilities include pre, intra, and post-procedure care for cardiac cath lab patients
- Surgical scrubs (light blue) are provided for staff
- Support is available from charge nurse, manager, and Cath Lab techs onsite
- One shift of traveler orientation provided prior to starting regular duties
- Block scheduling is available with standard day shifts
Requirements
- Active IN or compact RN license
- Minimum 2 years of recent cardiac cath lab RN experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required
- Experience with MEDITECH EMR and XPER equipment is required

Very traveler friendly and the ratio was pretty good!
Cons
The absolute biggest roaches everywhere even falling from the ceiling on people. I have heard that administration has really gone downhill as well and if you work the behavioral health unit they will screw you over on staffing since they don’t feel it is as important.

Sebrona was so helpful and quick to respond. She is kind and patient. She was able to get me the job I wanted with excellent pay. After she done her part she continued to check in with me to see how the compliance part was going. I felt comfortable with asking her questions even though it wasn’t the department she worked in.
