Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical Unit Telemetry position requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least one year of recent telemetry experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based Medical Unit with telemetry responsibilities
• Patient population includes adults requiring medical and telemetry monitoring
• Day shift position with 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Assignment is for a duration of 13 weeks
• Local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible for this assignment
• Scrub or dress code requirements not specified; verify prior to start
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply unless otherwise noted

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in telemetry or a comparable medical unit
• Current AHA or ARC BLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
• Must provide US SSN and date of birth for consideration
• One professional reference required (two for Florida or Missouri licenses)
