Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Critical Care ICU assignment requiring an active MA RN license, ICU experience, and night shift availability.

Responsibilities

Work in the Critical Care Unit of a hospital setting
Direct care for critically ill adult patients
Night shifts are required, working 12 hours from 7pm to 7am
Three shifts per week, totaling 36 hours
Required to work every other holiday and every third weekend
No on-call responsibilities
Meditech EMR is used and experience is required
Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate; local travelers accepted at a reduced rate
Patient care focuses on complex, acute conditions in a fast-paced ICU environment
Required to provide high-level critical care with minimal supervision
Every other holiday and every third weekend coverage is expected

Requirements

Active MA RN license required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or ARC required
Minimum of 2 years ICU nursing experience required
Travel nursing experience required
Proficiency with Meditech EMR is required
