Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an X-Ray Technologist with ARRT and BLS certification for a night shift assignment with weekend and call requirements.
Responsibilities
- Position is in an X-Ray department covering inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department studies
- Shift is 3x12 hours, nights from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Weekend work required every weekend, Friday through Sunday night shifts
- Call is required as part of the assignment
- Procedures include extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, portable abdomen, and portable chest X-rays
- Use of PACS and Siemens equipment is required
- Experience with GE, O-ARM, Phillips, and Toshiba equipment is preferred
- C-Arm experience is preferred
- Duties include performing and documenting a wide range of diagnostic X-ray procedures
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Night and weekend coverage expectations apply
- Scrub or dress code requirements will follow facility policy
Requirements
- Current BLS certification required
- ARRT-R certification required
- MD Board of Physicians license required if applicable
- Portable/mobile and surgical X-ray skills required
- Experience performing general X-rays on inpatient, outpatient, and emergency patients
- Preferred experience with C-Arms
