Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with strong robotics, ortho, and neuro expertise for a travel assignment in Florida requiring a compact or FL RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Operating Room of a hospital
• Patient population includes cases requiring robotics, orthopedic, and neuro procedures
• Day shift schedule with 4x10-hour shifts from 6:45 to 17:15
• Includes one on-call shift per week and two 12-hour weekend on-call shifts per month
• Travelers may be required to float within scope to meet facility needs
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Completion of time-sensitive onboarding modules is required at the start of assignment
• Team and nurse manager will provide details on on-call expectations during interview
• All requested time off must be submitted up front; additional requests may not be approved
• Scrubs or uniform guidelines will be provided after assignment confirmation
• Travelers cannot work more than 18 consecutive months at any Cleveland Clinic location and must wait at least 6 months before returning

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license, or eligible for pending licensure
• Minimum 2 years of direct Operating Room RN experience
• Strong experience with robotics, orthopedic, and neuro procedures required
• Certifications required: ACLS and BLS (both at time of consideration), NIHSS (obtain prior to start)
• Must be nicotine-free; negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine required
