Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for day shifts, requiring a current NY RN license and Epic EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Operating Room of a hospital setting
• Patient population includes surgical cases requiring perioperative nursing care
• Uses Epic EMR; previous Epic experience required
• Day shift schedule from 07:00 to 15:30
• No blocked scheduling allowed
• More than three call outs in a 13 week contract period may result in contract termination; makeup shifts must be completed within six weeks of a call out
• RTO must be requested with submission
• Travel pairs are not allowed for this position
• No local candidates residing within a 50-mile radius from specified NY counties will be considered
• Travelers may only apply to one position at a time

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required at the time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent operating room RN experience required
• BLS and other certifications from AHA or RQI required
• Epic EMR experience required, submissions without it will not be considered
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the last 12 months
• US Social Security Number required; Canadian SIN not accepted
• Medical documentation required for flu exemption, personal or religious declinations not accepted
