Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a Labor and Delivery RN for a day shift position in California requiring a CA RN license and 2 years of specialty experience.
Responsibilities
- Labor and Delivery unit in a hospital setting
- Day shift (3x12 hours), 7:00 to 19:00
- Assignment length of 13 weeks
- Patient charting is done using Paragon, with training provided
- Floating is not required for Labor and Delivery, ER, Postpartum, or NICU
- Responsibilities include providing nursing care to patients in Labor and Delivery
- Locals are accepted at the same bill rate
- Training on Paragon EMR will be provided
- Must provide any requested time off at the time of application; no additional time off will be approved after offer
- Will not consider candidates with DUI background hits
Requirements
- Active CA RN license (no EMSA, must be in hand at time of application)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- AWHONN or C-EFM certification required
- No DUI background hits accepted
