Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with at least two years of OR experience and a FL or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Operating Room of a hospital setting
• Patient population includes ortho, neuro, general surgery, robotic, urology, and gynecology cases
• 12-hour day shifts with variable start days, every other Monday
• Assignment length is 13 weeks at 36 hours per week
• On-call required for a minimum of 8 weekdays per month and 1 weekend day per month
• Weekend, holiday, and weekday call coverage required
• Willingness to float to other affiliated facilities as needed
• Scrubs are not provided
• Main responsibilities include providing perioperative nursing care in a busy OR environment
• Support available from an ANM during the day and a Charge RN at night for 24-hour weekend shifts
• Holiday coverage is mandatory
• Proof of COVID vaccination is required for consideration

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license
• At least 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience with orthopedic, neuro, general surgery, robotic, urology, and gynecology cases required
• Permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility for travel eligibility
• Must not have worked at the facility within the past 12 months
