Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring MI RN license, 2 years of L&D and postpartum experience, and BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit with postpartum care responsibilities
• Patient population includes obstetric and postpartum patients
• 12-hour night shifts from 7pm to 7am, three shifts per week
• No blocked scheduling is permitted
• Potential to float to sister hospital as needed
• Completion of onsite online modules with passing score required prior to start
• Must effectively coordinate and deliver patient care, including assessment, planning, supervision, and documentation
• COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory
• All documentation and compliance requirements must be completed by the assigned due date or start date may be delayed
• RTO must be noted prior to offer; additional requests post-offer require manager approval

Requirements

• Active Michigan RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Postpartum nursing experience required
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications are mandatory
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required
