Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro Interventional Radiology position requiring a NY RN license and Neuro ICU experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital-based Neuro Interventional Radiology setting
- Care for endovascular patients including angiograms, stroke interventions, carotid stents, and aneurysm treatments
- 10-hour shifts with 40 hours per week
- Rotational call and weekend call required
- Holiday coverage on a rotational basis
- 16-week contract assignment
- Cerner EMR is used
- Responsibilities include supporting endovascular procedures such as stroke interventions and aneurysm treatments
- Scrubs are provided by the hospital
- Holiday and weekend shifts are assigned on a rotation
- Experience with Cerner charting is necessary for this role
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted NY RN license
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Previous Neuro ICU experience required
- Preferred: 2 years of neuro IR lab or interventional radiology/cath lab experience
- Radiology experience preferred
