Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro Interventional Radiology position requiring a NY RN license and Neuro ICU experience.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital-based Neuro Interventional Radiology setting
Care for endovascular patients including angiograms, stroke interventions, carotid stents, and aneurysm treatments
10-hour shifts with 40 hours per week
Rotational call and weekend call required
Holiday coverage on a rotational basis
16-week contract assignment
Cerner EMR is used
Responsibilities include supporting endovascular procedures such as stroke interventions and aneurysm treatments
Scrubs are provided by the hospital
Holiday and weekend shifts are assigned on a rotation
Experience with Cerner charting is necessary for this role

Requirements

Active and unrestricted NY RN license
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Previous Neuro ICU experience required
Preferred: 2 years of neuro IR lab or interventional radiology/cath lab experience
Radiology experience preferred
