Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (CT) with active ARRT certification and a minimum of 2 years CT experience for a travel assignment.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient radiology setting performing CT Body imaging
• Multiple shift options available: 12-hour shifts (6:30AM-7PM), 10-hour shifts (6:30AM-5PM), or 8-hour shifts (7AM-3:30PM), Monday through Friday with variable days off
• Staff may work varied shift lengths, days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required
• May be required to float between work locations and assist as needed
• Epic EMR is used; experience with Epic preferred
• Produce high quality CT images according to department standards
• Must practice safety guidelines for self, patients, and support personnel
• Flexibility is required to adapt to varying work locations, shift times, and on-call needs
• Maintain annual ARRT certification documentation
• Maximum assignment length is one calendar year; a 30-60 day break is required before returning for a new assignment
• Allow at least 2 weeks for background check and drug screen results

Requirements

• Associate's degree in a related field or graduation from an accredited radiography program
• Active ARRT certification in Radiography and CT required prior to start date
• Current BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross required
• Minimum of 2 years of CT experience or 3 total travel assignments in the specialty required for consideration
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills
• License required if applicable
• COVID-19 vaccination and booster required
