Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring a TN or compact RN license and specialized certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Care for emergency and trauma patients across all acuity levels
• Provide emergency and trauma care in a fast-paced environment
• Compliance with hospital dress code and professional standards is required
• First-time travelers are not specifically restricted from applying
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• At least 1 year of recent ER nursing experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
• CPI or acceptable alternatives such as SAMA, MAB, or ACPMA accepted for behavioral management
• NIH Stroke Certification required
• References: two for applicants from Florida and Missouri, one for all other states
• No work history gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
