Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and either ARRT(N), CNMT, or NMTCB(CT) certification for a day shift contract position.
Responsibilities
- Work in a nuclear medicine department at a specialized cancer hospital
- Perform a range of nuclear medicine diagnostic and therapeutic studies
- Utilize GE and Philips NM cameras in daily operations
- Uses Epic EMR for charting
- Day shift schedule is 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Must be available to work every 3rd weekend
- No on-call required
- May float to the main hospital connected via pedestrian bridge as needed
- Locals are accepted at the same rate
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Returning employees must have been separated from the health system for at least 1 year to be eligible
- Black scrubs are required
- No block scheduling permitted
Requirements
- Active NJ or Compact license required for consideration (license required if applicable)
- BLS certification required
- Certified as R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT), CNMT, or NMTCB(CT) required
- Minimum of 2 years experience in nuclear medicine preferred
- Experience with a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine exams
- EMR experience with Epic preferred
