Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with ARRT (N) or NMTCB and CT credentials for a day shift assignment with EPIC charting and floating to cardiac departments.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital-based Nuclear Medicine department
- Performs a range of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine studies
- May float to cardiac departments as needed
- Uses GE and Philips nuclear medicine cameras
- EPIC EMR system is used for charting
- Day shifts available as either 4x10s or 5x8s, starting at 7:00 AM
- Every 3rd weekend rotation required
- No on-call shifts required
- Locals are accepted for this position
- First-time travelers are accepted for this position
- Must be available to work at least one of two major holidays
- All schedule requests must be approved prior to offer
- Block scheduling is not available
- Returning employees must have at least one year separation from previous employment within the health system
- Background and license must be clear of open or active issues
Requirements
- Current ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification with post primary credentials in Computed Tomography (CT) required
- Active NJ or Compact license required at time of consideration (license required if applicable)
- BLS certification required
- At least 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred
- Experience with diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine studies required
- Familiarity with EPIC charting preferred
- Black scrubs required
