Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with ARRT (N) or NMTCB and CT credentials for a day shift assignment with EPIC charting and floating to cardiac departments.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based Nuclear Medicine department
• Performs a range of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine studies
• May float to cardiac departments as needed
• Uses GE and Philips nuclear medicine cameras
• EPIC EMR system is used for charting
• Day shifts available as either 4x10s or 5x8s, starting at 7:00 AM
• Every 3rd weekend rotation required
• No on-call shifts required
• Locals are accepted for this position
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Must be available to work at least one of two major holidays
• All schedule requests must be approved prior to offer
• Block scheduling is not available
• Returning employees must have at least one year separation from previous employment within the health system
• Background and license must be clear of open or active issues

Requirements

• Current ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification with post primary credentials in Computed Tomography (CT) required
• Active NJ or Compact license required at time of consideration (license required if applicable)
• BLS certification required
• At least 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred
• Experience with diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine studies required
• Familiarity with EPIC charting preferred
• Black scrubs required
