Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Med/Surg position requiring a TN or compact license and at least one year of recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital Cardiac Med/Surg unit
• Work schedule is 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts
• Care is provided on the 3 Central Cardiac Med/Surg floor
• Deliver care to adult cardiac Med/Surg patients in an acute hospital setting
• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required as scheduled
• A complete professional profile is needed for consideration, including license verification and certification copies
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position

Requirements

• Active RN license in TN or compact state required
• Minimum of one year of recent Cardiac Med/Surg experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
• References required: two for FL and MO, one for all other states
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted
