Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Dual-Modality Radiology Technologist (XR/CT) with at least two years of experience and ARRT certifications for a rotating assignment in Montana.
Responsibilities
- Work in a dual-modality setting performing both CT and X-ray exams
- Assignment supports both outpatient and inpatient settings with a variable schedule
- 10-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, working 8 days on and 6 days off
- Rotation to Urgent Care may be required
- Potential to work beyond standard hours, including weekends and after-hours shifts
- On-call work may be required to respond to patient or organizational needs
- Must live at least 90 miles away from the facility to be considered
- Independently perform high quality CT and X-ray/fluoroscopic exams for diagnostic and treatment purposes
- Support exam documentation, image distribution, billing, and archival processes
- Assist with exams in other departments as appropriate
- Maintain professional demeanor and strong interpersonal communication in a busy environment
- Must complete all required ongoing education and meet licensing and policy standards per organization
- Exposure to radiation, bloodborne pathogens, chemicals, and emotionally challenging situations is expected
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology program (CAHEA or equivalent) with documented competencies in Radiology and CT
- Current and active Montana Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable
- ARRT advanced certification in CT and ARRT(RT) required
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) within 60 days of hire
- Minimum of two years previous radiology experience
- Physical ability to lift, stand, walk, bend, and perform other job-related tasks as needed
