Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN with a current CA license for a night shift float position requiring BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and 4 years of critical care experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting
- Float among ICU, Stepdown ICU (SDICU), Telemetry, and Medical-Surgical units as needed
- Night shift with three 12-hour shifts per week from 19:00 to 07:00
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirement
- Must adhere to a 50 mile radius rule for candidates
- Returning staff must have a break of at least one year before returning as a traveler
- Only one holiday off will be approved for requested time off
- Must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of signing agreement
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current BLS (AHA), ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum of 4 years critical care RN experience required
- Must be able to float to ICU, SDICU, Telemetry, and Med Surg units
