Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab RN with 4+ years of cath/EP lab experience and an active MA RN license for a day shift position.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab of a hospital setting
• Schedule is 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00am to 5:30pm
• Seven on-call nights per month including one weekend
• Adult patient population in a 2-room cath/EP lab
• Procedures include PCI, impella, balloon pump, device implants, and ablations
• Uses Epic (Cupid) charting system
• No floating required
• Provide cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology nursing care for adult patients
• Team structure includes collaborative work with interventionalists and technologists
• Flu vaccines are mandatory without religious or medical exemptions
• Parking may incur additional daily costs
• Local candidates must reside more than 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital for standard travel rates

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license required (no pending or conditional licenses accepted)
• Minimum 4 years of experience in cath/EP lab with interventional cardiac and scrub experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required
• Experience with Epic EMR required
• Flu vaccination required with no exemptions allowed
