Job Description

American Traveler seeks an experienced CT Technologist for night shifts, requiring ARRT (CT) certification, BLS, and a minimum of 4 years of CT experience at a Level 1 Trauma, teaching hospital.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in a Level 1 Trauma, teaching hospital with 637 licensed beds
• Work in a high-volume CT department serving approximately 100 patients per day
• Patient population includes inpatients, outpatients, and emergency room cases
• Uses EPIC EMR, Philips PACS, and GE CT scanners
• Scheduled for 12-hour night shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• All contracted weekends are scheduled, including holidays that fall on shift days
• Department does not require call or floating outside of inpatient and ER areas
• Daily responsibilities include performing CT scans for a diverse patient population across inpatient, outpatient, and ER settings
• Candidates must be prepared to work all scheduled weekends and cover holidays that fall on their shift
• Initial orientation includes a general hospital onboarding followed by one day in the department

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years CT technologist experience required
• Current ARRT (CT) credential and BLS certification required
• Proficiency in IV starts
• Experience working in a trauma or teaching hospital environment preferred
• Experience with EPIC EMR, Philips PACS, and GE CT scanners preferred
• First-time travelers will not be considered
• License required if applicable
