Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with ARRT(M) certification and a minimum of 2 years recent mammography experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is located in a diagnostic imaging department with multiple mammography rooms
• Work schedule is 4 ten-hour day shifts per week, Tuesday through Friday, with no call required
• Experience with stereotactic and needle localization procedures is preferred
• DEXA experience is a plus
• Performs mammography procedures in accordance with professional standards and organizational policies
• Handles stereotactic and needle localization procedures as needed
• Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
• Facility housing may be available for travelers
• No call required for this position

Requirements

• Active ARRT(R)(M) certification required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent mammography experience required
• Traveler's permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility due to a radius rule
• Proof of flu vaccination is required; no exemptions allowed
• License required if applicable
