Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) night shift position requiring a TN or compact RN license and recent PCU experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Progressive Care Unit of a hospital setting
- Primary patient population requires intermediate level care typically found in a PCU
- Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract assignment
- 50 mile radius rule applies and local candidates are not eligible
- Engage in the delivery of care to patients requiring intermediate telemetry and monitoring
- Certification documents, professional references, and license verification required for onboarding
- No Canadian Social Security Numbers accepted
- First time travelers will be considered
Requirements
- Active TN or compact RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of recent PCU nursing experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or ARC required
- NIH Stroke Certification required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
- Professional reference requirements: two references if licensed in Florida or Missouri, one reference for all other states
