Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) night shift position requiring a TN or compact RN license and recent PCU experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Progressive Care Unit of a hospital setting
• Primary patient population requires intermediate level care typically found in a PCU
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• 50 mile radius rule applies and local candidates are not eligible
• Engage in the delivery of care to patients requiring intermediate telemetry and monitoring
• Certification documents, professional references, and license verification required for onboarding
• No Canadian Social Security Numbers accepted
• First time travelers will be considered

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent PCU nursing experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or ARC required
• NIH Stroke Certification required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• Professional reference requirements: two references if licensed in Florida or Missouri, one reference for all other states
