Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring strong robotics, orthopedic, and neuro skills as well as ACLS and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in an Operating Room within a hospital setting
• Care for surgical patients, with a focus on robotics, orthopedic, and neuro procedures
• Day shifts are 4x10 hours from 6:45 to 17:15
• On-call required: one shift per week and two 12-hour weekend shifts per month
• Floating within scope may be required based on facility needs
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Prioritize completion of time-sensitive onboarding modules upon assignment confirmation
• Assignments at any Cleveland Clinic location cannot exceed 18 consecutive months, with a 6-month wait required between assignments
• Must be nicotine-free without exception
• All requested time off must be declared before assignment; additional RTO is unlikely to be approved
• No block scheduling is accommodated
• Team and case details will be discussed during the interview process

Requirements

• Active FL or compact state RN license required (pending license accepted)
• Minimum of 2 years of direct RN Operating Room experience required
• Strong experience with robotics, orthopedic, and neuro procedures required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required at time of consideration
• NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start
• All references, requested time off, and required documentation must be provided prior to consideration
• Must pass a negative 10-panel drug screen and nicotine test
• First-time travelers are accepted
