Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with ARRT(MR) certification and strong Siemens and GE MRI skills for an evening shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in an MRI department supporting ED, inpatient, and outpatient populations
• Utilize Siemens and GE MRI equipment for a variety of imaging procedures
• Perform power injection contrast injections as part of imaging protocols
• Epic Radiant EMR is used; proficiency required
• Evening shifts from 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM, 40 hours per week
• On-call required: one weeknight every other week and one weekend (Fri/Sat) every 10th weekend
• May be required to float between multiple campuses within the health system
• Contrast injection responsibilities included
• Scrubs must be charcoal gray
• May be asked to cover shifts or float to other campuses within the system
• Team environment involves interaction with ED, inpatient, and outpatient staff

Requirements

• Minimum of 24 months recent MRI experience
• Strong proficiency operating Siemens and GE MRI equipment
• Current ARRT(R)(MR) certification required
• Prior travel experience required
• EPIC Radiant EMR experience required
• Active state license required if applicable
• Valid driver’s license required
• Skills checklist specific to MRI must be completed
• Professional reference from a supervisor within the last 24 months preferred
