Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a 13-week day-shift position requiring a compact or NC RN license and a minimum of two years of recent operating room experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Operating Room of a hospital setting
• Day shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Weekend shifts required as part of the rotation
• Call responsibilities will be discussed during the interview
• No floating required
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Position may allow block scheduling, to be discussed in the interview
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Orientation and support provided prior to start
• Team-based environment with experienced surgical staff

Requirements

• Active NC or Compact RN license with no disciplinary actions
• BLS certification required
• Minimum two years of operating room RN experience required
• Work experience documentation covering the past three years required
• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius will be considered
• First-time travelers are not accepted
