Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience, preferably with neurological diagnoses, for an acute inpatient rehab assignment.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a 30-bed acute inpatient rehab unit
• Primarily treats patients with neurological diagnoses such as stroke, brain injury, multi-trauma, and post spine surgery
• Typical caseload is 4-6 patients per day with an expectation of billing 24 units daily
• Uses Cerner/OneChart EMR for documentation
• Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with rotating weekends
• Main responsibilities include conducting evaluations and providing treatments for primarily neurological rehab patients
• Dress code allows black scrubs or business casual attire
• Candidates must provide two professional references and copies of certifications
• All positions follow a radius rule; local candidates are accepted but may be offered a reduced rate
• Covid vaccination is not required for this assignment

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist required (License required if applicable)
• Minimum of 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• Experience in acute inpatient rehab and with neurological patient populations preferred
• Candidates must possess a US Social Security Number and a US home address
• Copy of Driver’s License required for consideration
