Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Circulator for a day shift Operating Room position requiring a minimum of three years' perioperative nursing experience.

Details

Position is based in the Operating Room as a circulating nurse
Day shift schedule from 06:30 to 15:00
13-week contract assignment
On-call rotation is required
May be floated to other departments where qualified to provide patient care

Requirements

Active RN license required at time of consideration
Minimum of 3 years recent perioperative nursing experience
Experience as a circulator in the OR setting required

Additional Information

Responsible for all aspects of perioperative nursing in the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases
Acts as patient advocate and supervises assigned personnel
Reports to Unit Nurse Manager, House Supervisor, or RN Team Leader
Adheres to established standards of care, policies, and procedures
No specific COVID-19 vaccination requirement for this position
