Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatrics night shift position requiring EPIC experience and active WA or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work on a Pediatrics unit in an acute hospital setting
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:30
• Floating required, including to NICU and adult floors as a PSA
• Patient population includes respiratory, GI, neurology, pre/post-operative, and endocrine cases
• Average daily census is 12 with 18 rooms and 19 beds
• Care for neonate feeder grower and perform VEEG as needed
• EPIC EMR experience required
• May float between facilities within the state as needed
• Former permanent staff must be separated for at least 3 months and live outside the 50-mile radius
• All vacation or scheduling requests must be submitted upfront and are subject to approval
• Minimal to no holiday coverage required
• Brief phone interview with manager is part of the hiring process

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and PALS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years pediatric RN experience required
• Experience with med/surg pediatric patients and neonates preferred
• Two supervisory references covering at least 1 year within the last three years in a comparable specialty
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
