Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Alaska with required Alaska RN licensure and advanced ER certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a busy Emergency Room (ER) setting
• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00AM to 7:00PM
• Position is a 13-week contract
• Responsible for providing emergency nursing care for a variety of acute and critical patients
• Team-based environment with multidisciplinary staff support
• Dress code and scrub color requirements will be communicated prior to start
• Document management and reporting according to facility protocol
• U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth are required for consideration
• References required as per state-specific guidelines (not applicable to Alaska)
• No local candidates will be considered

Requirements

• Active Alaska RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ER clinical experience
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC accepted from AHA or ARC
• CPI or equivalent crisis intervention training required for ER staff
• NIH Stroke Certification required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility
