Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of hospital-based CT experience and current ARRT certification.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital setting working primarily with CT and X-ray modalities
• Scheduled 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with every fourth weekend and every other holiday required, including 7:00 PM start on holiday nights
• Average daily caseload is approximately 3 patients per hour, subject to change with staffing
• Must be competent in two imaging modalities such as CT, X-ray, or MRI
• Utilizes GE CT and X-ray equipment
• Preferred experience with ED patient population
• May require on-call shifts
• Epic EHR, PACS, and RIS system experience preferred
• Performs procedures in at least two imaging modalities per protocols
• Assists with patient history and lab documentation, ensuring availability for provider review
• May perform venipuncture and administer contrast medications as prescribed
• Responsible for radiation safety and verification of patient identity prior to procedures
• Scrubs or dress code will be specified by the facility
• Complies with manufacturer safety and guideline protocols for imaging and medication administration
• Study guides provided prior to EKG testing during onboarding
• Holiday and weekend shifts are required as part of the regular rotation
• Candidates with previous travel experience are preferred

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Radiology Technologist experience and 2 years of CT experience in a hospital setting
• Current ARRT certification required; CT registry highly preferred
• BLS certification required
• Ohio license required if applicable
• Associate degree from an ARRT accredited program or equivalent preferred
• Experience with IV contrast administration preferred
• Experience operating GE CT and X-ray equipment preferred
• ECG competency required; must pass EKG testing on first day with two attempts provided
• Local candidates accepted with a 50-mile radius rule
