Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg RN with a MD or compact license and wound salvage program experience for a day shift contract.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital-based Medical Surgical unit
- Day shift position with 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:30
- Required to work every 3rd weekend
- Participation in wound salvage program is required
- Floating within skillset to other units as needed
- Locals within 60 miles are accepted
- Responsibilities include patient care and participation in the wound salvage program
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Supportive team environment with orientation provided for travelers
Requirements
- Active MD or compact RN license required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- NIHSS certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years' Med/Surg nursing experience required
- First-time travelers accepted
