Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an LTAC Med/Surg night shift position in Denver requiring a CO or compact RN license and 2 years of recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) Med/Surg unit
• Night shifts from 18:00 to 06:30
• Unit specializes in chronic care for medically complex patients
• 13-week contract assignment
• Must float within a 25-mile radius if required
• Provide nursing care to chronic, medically complex patients in a hospital-based LTAC unit
• Staff are required to clock in and out using the electronic timekeeping system
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility for travel assignment eligibility
• Holiday coverage may be required as scheduled

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent Med/Surg or LTAC RN experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (RCIS and RQI certifications not accepted)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Full US Social Security Number required for consideration
• No current permanent employment with any location in the HealthTrust system while on travel assignment
