Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring a NH or compact license and NIH Stroke certification.

Responsibilities

• Position is for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting
• Night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• No local candidates accepted due to a 50-mile radius rule
• Provide care to patients requiring intermediate level monitoring and interventions
• Night shift schedule with potential holiday and weekend coverage as needed
• Must submit complete profile including licenses, certifications, skills checklist, and references
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply if all experience and documentation requirements are met

Requirements

• Active NH or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent PCU or telemetry nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications through AHA or ARC required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• At least one professional reference required
