Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry position in Alaska requiring an active AK RN license and recent specialty experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in the specialized care unit (SCU) on the Telemetry unit
- Night shift position with hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract assignment
- No local candidates accepted; must live more than 50 miles from the facility
- Holiday and weekend coverage may be required per unit needs
- First-time travelers will be considered for the position
Requirements
- Active Alaska RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of recent telemetry nursing experience required
- AHA or ARC BLS and ACLS certifications required, active with no certifications expiring within 30 days of start
- NIH Stroke Certification required
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Must provide U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration
- At least one professional reference required
