Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry position in Alaska requiring an active AK RN license and recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the specialized care unit (SCU) on the Telemetry unit
• Night shift position with hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• No local candidates accepted; must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required per unit needs
• First-time travelers will be considered for the position

Requirements

• Active Alaska RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent telemetry nursing experience required
• AHA or ARC BLS and ACLS certifications required, active with no certifications expiring within 30 days of start
• NIH Stroke Certification required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Must provide U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration
• At least one professional reference required
