Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with craniotomy and burr hole experience and a TX or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Main Operating Room of a hospital setting
• Specialties include neuro/spine, ortho/trauma, and general/robotics/trauma procedures
• Day shifts: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 6:30 am to 7:00 pm (3x12 hours)
• Call and late days are required as part of the schedule
• Altera charting experience is preferred but not required
• Responsibilities include assisting with neuro, spine, ortho, trauma, and robotics surgeries
• Mandatory modules are completed during orientation and take approximately 6-8 hours
• Clinicians must complete required lab items within 72 hours of offer acceptance or have a plan in place
• Local candidates within a 150-mile radius are not accepted for travel roles
• Positive drug screens are grounds for cancellation with no exceptions, including for Marijuana and CBD products

Requirements

• Active TX or compact state RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in operating room service line
• Current resume and certification verification required for consideration
• Craniotomy and burr hole procedural experience is required
• Completion of employer drug screen on arrival, including testing for Marijuana and CBD
• Must not reside within 150 miles of the facility
• Prior travel experience is preferred
• Former permanent staff must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year to be eligible
