Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Travel Progressive Care Multi Trauma Unit position, requiring a CO or compact RN license and strong recent PCU experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Multi Trauma Unit (MTU) within a hospital setting
• Patient population consists of trauma cases requiring progressive care
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• No local candidates accepted; 50-mile radius rule applies
• Primary responsibility is to provide specialized care to trauma patients in a fast-paced setting
• Participation in a collaborative team environment
• Holiday coverage may be required during assignment
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply if meeting all listed requirements

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent PCU or trauma experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or ARC required
• NIH Stroke Certification required
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• At least one professional reference required depending on state of licensure
• No employment gaps of 90 or more days in the past 12 months
