Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg/Ortho travel assignment on a night shift with a TN or compact license required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital setting on the 5 West Med/Surg/Ortho unit
• Primary patient population includes general med/surg and orthopedic cases
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• No local candidates permitted within a 50-mile radius
• Provide care to med/surg and orthopedic patients in a fast-paced acute setting
• Adhere to unit protocols and deliver evidence-based nursing interventions
• Night shift nursing responsibilities with potential for exposure to diverse case types
• Scrubs required per hospital dress code
• Must comply with assigned documentation and compliance requirements before assignment

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent med/surg nursing experience
• At least 2 years of clinical experience required for assignments in HCA Far West - N CA Region
• Current AHA or ARC BLS certification, valid through at least 30 days after assignment start
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for job consideration
• Professional reference required (two if licensed in FL or MO, otherwise one)
• Copies of certifications and state board verification required
