Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a travel Med/Surg Post-Op position requiring a TN or compact RN license and at least one year of recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Med/Surg Post-Op unit with a focus on ENT, GI, and general medical-surgical patients
• Hospital environment in a 6th floor unit
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment duration
• No local candidates accepted under a strict 50-mile radius rule
• Primary responsibilities include providing post-operative care to medical-surgical patients
• Strict compliance with required documentation including skills checklist and license verification
• Scrub or dress code requirements will be provided by the facility
• First time travelers will be considered
• References and required documentation must be complete at time of consideration

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Med/Surg required
• At least 2 years of clinical experience if applying within the HCA Far West - N CA Region
• Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• Professional references: 2 required for Florida and Missouri, 1 for other states
