Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position on a night shift requiring an active NC or compact RN license and previous Med/Surg experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Medical Surgical Combination unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift position from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Patient care is focused on a mixed medical-surgical population
• Permanent address must be more than 60 miles from the assignment facility
• Travelers may not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Standard patient care responsibilities for medical-surgical patients
• References are not required at the time of consideration

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification required (RQI certifications not accepted)
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• COVID vaccination card required
• Cannot be employed full time elsewhere during assignment
